OrthoRxPlan has a team of highly experienced Invisalign practitioners who will provide clinical support and expertise to assist you with your Invisalign cases. This includes case selection, treatment planning, clincheck review ongoing patient management and trouble-shooting.
OrthoRxPlan will:
- Provide you with the materials necessary for you to submit cases (e.g. impression trays, submission kits, new patient starter kits, brochures etc)
- Allow you to submit direct to Align Technology under our accreditation
- Review and approve ClinCheck on your behalf and make any adjustments necessary to maximise the clinical outcomes
- Receive the manufactured aligners and courier them to you
- Provide a point of clinical reference as each case progresses
You will:
- Use www.orthorxplan.com as the support service for developing your Invisalign treatment plan
- Courier completed submission kits and patient records direct to Align Technology in the USA under our accreditation
- Accept full clinical responsibility for patients treated by you

Invisalign Lite (replaces Invisalign Express from 12 April 2010) - for patients who want minor cosmetic orthodontic improvements. It is particularly suitable for minor movements, some relapse cases and pre-restorative alignment.
- 14 aligners or less
- no clinical criteria restrictions
- no restrictions on which teeth can move
- online submission required (same records as Full/Teen/Anterior)
- by default NO IPR will be in original ClinCheck set up
- one Case Refinement (of up to 5 aligners) is available for purchase
- overcorrection can be programmed but it must be within the 14 aligners
- Mid Course Correction is not available for Invisalign Lite
- Pontics are available and will automatically be placed in edentulous areas as per usual protocols
Anterior Treatment - for cases where movement is only planned for the upper and lower six anterior teeth.
There is no limit on the number of aligners but the case must meet the following clinical criteria:
- Spacing or crowding of less than 4 mm per arch
- Rotation of canines less than 30 degrees
- Less than 2 mm midline correction
- Overlap between any two teeth less than 2mm
- No extractions
- IPR can only be requested from canine to canine
- Canine to canine movement only
Full Treatment – for comprehensive treatment of the full arch
There is no limit on the number of aligners but the case must meet the following clinical criteria:
- Spacing or crowding of less than 6 mm per arch
- Rotation of canines less than 30 degrees, incisors less than 45 degrees and posterior rotations less than 15 degrees
- Less than 2 mm midline correction
- Overlap between any two teeth less than 2mm
- Expansion 2-3mm/quadrant and uprighting buccal segments for expansion 20-30 degrees
- Intrusion of anterior teeth 2mm/arch and posterior teeth 1mm/arch
- Extrusion of anterior teeth 1mm/arch and posterior teeth 0.5mm/arch
- Tipping for uprighting molars 10-20 degrees, incisal tipping 20-30 degrees and mesial-distal anterior crown tip 10 degrees
- Incisor torque with extended aligner wear 15 degrees
- Distalisation 2-3mm
